E.O. Berg, is a leading controversial and forefront player in the dynamics of media and the engagement there-off. With more than 10 years of experience, in and around the Entertainment Industry of S.A, as well as his direct engagement with media and sales on most avenues, Berg has trained and worked with some of the absolute prodigies in his field.
 
matriculated at High School The Wilgers, where he left his peers on an above average record. Berg enrolled at the University of  Pretoria  as a  B.Com (Bachalarius Commerci) patron of Marketing and Communication. He furthered his studies as a scholar in Dramatic arts B.A Dram ( Bachalareus)  graduating cum laude at the University of Stellenbosch Cape Town. He has tutored, and as a guest lecturer or speaker at various institutions, have conducted many trainings and media workshops.
 
He has conducted numerous Multi Media camera-Acting courses (Soaps, T.V, Sitcoms), designed and created by Shirley Johnston (Director of Backstage and vast acclaim in world of Broadcasting).
 
Berg has appeared on almost every South African TV Channel, as well as abroad ( Canada, U.S.A., Africa) This includes SABC 1, 2, and 3, E-TV, MNET, and DSTV, as well as The Big Screen. A regular performer at all the S.A arts festivals- Aardklop, Grahamstown, KKNK. As a patron of  classical theatre in the likes of Shakespeare, Brecht,  Moliere and Chekhov, his involvement either as performer or conceptionist, has stretched and covered almost every national  leading Arthouse  and Showcase Authority in S.A: The State Theatre PTA,  Arts-Cape CT, The H.B Thom C.T. The Civic Theatre JHB and the Sanlam Auditorium (Potch). He has been a leading actor and TV Personality appearing in almost all the S.A. local soaps and various Drama productions. 2002 M-Net nominated Berg as the most promising and dynamic upcoming actor of S.A. As a local guest on Radio Shows and  T.V. Talk Shows, as the likes of PASELLA, KWELA- KYK-NET, GERAAS, SATURDAY NITE, GLITTERATI, K.TV and GONS, Berg has captivated and mesmerised his audiences. His involvement in international films as well as local productions has acclaimed  him numerous prestigious  awards, as the likes of the Pansa Award, Crystal Award( People magazine), two of the 2006 Apollo film festival awards and featured as a nomination for the Vuka Awards. He has also been awarded the A.T.K.V MEDIA “Veertjie” for best screen actor 2010. A regular media source, Berg has made front cover news on various publications, and have appeared in almost every single Media- print publishing institution in S.A:  The Herold: Entertainment, Die Beeld, Die Volksblad, Die Burger, Gazette, Screenafrica.com, Film Africa.Com, De Kat, People Magazine, HEAT Magazine, GQ, Cosmopoliton, The Caxton Group, Vrouekeur, Top Billing, Finesse, Sarie, Rooi Rose, INSIG, YOU, Huisgenoot, Dish DSTV, Rapport, The Citizen, Sunday Times, The Star, SON, and Sondag.
 
 
He has been a requested favourite as the voice of Coopereate training material for local as well as U.K. based entities, and have endorsed numerous international cooperate, financial, hospitality and fashion institutions: brands such as Vodacom, , Planet Fitness, Kai Thai Group, The Dress Suite, Law Firms as the likes of  Nelson and Associates, and was one of the founding members, and Managing Director of  SHL Pty. Ltd.
 
Whether a guest speaker, colleague, patron or friend, He has been associated with those of  the highest measure and influence in the S.A. culture of Showbiz. He is a general favourite in the judging of Fashion Events, a local Guest at the annual SA Fashion Week and a pro-active  Patron of the Artistic expresion, where he personally worked with and performed with the honourable S.A.B.T. in the all kwown classical piece, Sleeping Beauty.
 
Berg was also requested amongst celebrities like Miss Masepeke Sekhukhune, Head of the Newtown Film School, Elana Afrika,well known TV personality and Radio 5 DJ, Derrich Gardner and Jan Du Plessis, Head of Channels at M-Net, for the presenting of the T.U.T Film Awards amongst 35 categories. Berg also Hosted the 2007 South African Music Awards (Vonk)
 
He is currently seen on M-Net in one of South Africa’s biggest dramas called “Binnelanders” where he is portraying the charming but quite ruthless, Dr. Conrad Bester. Berg is also about to appear on the brand new season of SURVIVOR South Africa 2011 starting as of the end of February.
